When our controls lead, Luke Croucher, arrived on-site, we found that both the controls and software controlling this plant were out of date. On top of this, much of the plant had been manually overridden.

Working closely with the staff on-site, Luke was able to aid the staff in getting the plant back to automatic control using the BEMS, increasing their energy efficiency. He was able to provide detailed site reports, keeping them aware of when the plant was requiring preventative replacement. This allowed them to minimise plant downtime in an environment where plant uptime is paramount.

Luke has also assisted the staff on-site with gradually upgrading the software of existing controllers on-site. This gave the staff on-site more control as they required while also optimising the efficiency of the plant on-site.
